The UCine LED Cinema Screen offers a direct view display that eliminates the need for a projection booth, which can maximize seating capacity, decrease construction cost, and increase your bottom line, depending upon circumstances affecting the configuration of the space. Powered by its built-in DCI-compliant video processor, the GDC SRC-7500 Integrated Media Block, the UCine LED Cinema Screen can provide unparalleled security for DCP content and precise image processing for enhanced brightness, color, contrast, and gray scale, resulting in clear, vivid, and colorful images.

With a native 4K resolution*, high refresh rate, and multiple brightness modes, the UCine LED Cinema Screen produces ultra-high picture quality with excellent brightness and color consistency. It also offers infinity:1 contrast ratio under an ideal viewing environment exceeding traditional projection systems, and a high gray scale that enhances the richness and vividness of the colors.

Unmatched security for DCP content. The UCine LED Cinema Screen and its GDC SRC-7500 IMB are fully DCI-compliant and utilize FIPS security protocols, providing a high level of signal transmission security and protection mechanisms. This ensures that the LED screen is secure for displaying encrypted theatrical motion picture content in the digital era.

  3. High Frame Rate (HFR). The UCine LED Cinema Screen can achieve ultra-high picture quality with a native 4K (4,096 x 2,160) resolution. The maximum frame rate for 2D is 96fps, and for 3D is 48fps which has the potential to make the 3D viewing experience less cumbersome by reducing motion blur, providing a smooth picture, and improving the picture sharpness for fast-moving objects.

  4. High Dynamic Range (HDR). The UCine LED Cinema Screen can be viewed in bright environments and supports multiple brightness modes (48nit, 100nit, 150nit, 300nit). This means that bright objects and dark objects can be shown to a high degree of brightness and darkness. Thanks to its high brightness, the UCine LED Cinema Screen greatly improves the quality of the 3D presentation, where insufficient projector brightness is often an issue.

  7. High gray scale. The UCine LED Cinema Screen can achieve a gray scale of 16-bit or higher. The higher the gray scale, the richer the color, making the image a lot more vivid.

  8. Compatible with major sound systems. The UCine LED Cinema Screen is compatible with all cinema sound systems using an industry-standard audio interface. It supports 5.1/7.1 surround sound, and DTS:X for IAB immersive audio^ allowing audiences to immerse themselves with realistic and true cinematic sound for a 360° audio experience.

  9. DCI-P3 color gamut. The UCine LED Cinema Screen has a DCI-P3 color gamut offering ultra-high contrast, precise brightness control, and accurate, true-to-life reproduction of the overall image.
